Mar. 24.03 @ 12:44 a.m. While sitting on the bus today on the way to the zoo, I opened up a bottle of pop, not really thinking much of it. I'm usually pretty good at waiting for it to settle, so it doesn't go all over the place and thought I waited long enough today. Ha! The bottle exploded all over the bus. And by exploded, I mean it hit the roof and everything within a 10ft radius of me, including the poor woman who was sitting directly in front of me. She turned around to see what was going on, and I apologized profusely while she wiped off her coat. She handled it with extreme grace...much better than I would've. I'm just relieved that there was only one other person besides her on the bus, and only her shoe was hit. I couldn't help but giggle a bit at the complete mess I made, but I paid dearly for it since I was all sticky and wet. When the woman got off the bus, I noticed that her hair was positively shimmering with specs of Coca-Cola. If I didn't know the cause of the shimmer, I probably would've thought it was quite pretty. I shouldn't be allowed out of my house. C.
