I haven't mentioned my niece in quite some time. She was pretty sick in the hospital for a while, so I hadn't been able to talk to her much, until recently.

Last night, I called my sister and Karisa (my niece) wanted to talk. She got on the phone and I could only hear heavy baby breathing for a minute, then all of a sudden she yells, "Hockeeeeeeey!" It was hilarious. She's a year and a half old. So I asked her if she was watching hockey with her Daddy, and she says "Scooooores!" Then she kissed the phone and passed it back to my sister.

Yep, she's related to me, alright...she even has a hockey stick already. What a kid.
